Zack Richard and Carla Heiney, respectively from Montreal, Canada and San Francisco, California, started working together in 2008. Their fresh partnership soon started turning heads as they went on to win both the Canadian Swing Championships and International Lindy Hop Championships classic Divisions. Their fun and relaxed approach to teaching, infused with their spirit and love for the dance, has been a success everywhere they went. Zack Richard, one of the founders of Swing ConneXion in Montreal, Canada has earned numerous competition titles worldwide, including four straight years as Canadian Showcase Champion and the 2008 International Lindy Hop Champion. Since 2001, he has traveled the world to teach swing dance and share his passion for dancing. Carla currently teaches, choreographs, judges, competes, & social dances all over the world. Among many of her titles, Carla is a 2008 International Lindy Hop Champion, a 2007 National Jitterbug Champion and 2007 American Lindy Hop Champion. She has also won the Lindy Showcase division in 2001, 2002 and 2004. Carla has appeared on ABC's revival of the TV show "Dance Fever" in 2003 and she will also be featured in the upcoming 2008 movie "Love and Dancing."
