Become a swingin’ songwriter and help the Heartland find it’s voice!

The Heartland Swing Festival needs a “theme” song and we want you to help us write it.  We are only asking for lyrics but if you have ideas for music, feel free to submit that as well.  If chosen, Kate Jochum and the Hot Swing Combo will perform your song live at the 2012 Heartland Swing Festival! But that's not all! The winning songwriter will also receive a free Pass to Heartland Swing Festival 2013!

Song must contain at least:
-Two Verses and One Chorus
-The words: Heartland, Jitterbug
-Must express the joy and excitement of the Heartland Swing Festival and Collegiate Jitterbug Championships!
